Jethro Lazenby Cave.

What is it with these Cave men and being so damn appealing to the ladies? Its the mystery, or the romanticism leaking out of their veins. Nick Cave's son, Jethro Lazenby Cave - the name's enough, isn't it? - Is shaping up to be a 'poster boy' if you will, for current cult fashion trends,
magazines and blogs. He's been snapped for Jak and Jil, posed for Dazed and Confused and I.D, and became the first male model to bag an editoral in Australia's own Russh. Seems like everyone is making exceptions to their morals for this pretty boy. I certainly know a few people who would.

the only sour cherry.

What a ffffucking sexy shoe collection. Despite popular belief, I'm pretty sure guys luck out when it comes to shoe choice. Sure, heels are erotic or slimming, or whatever, but how can you not look cool when you're donning a pair of these... I did once know a girl who paired patent black pumps with 3/4 length leggings and a butter yellow shirtdress covered in penguins. Now, if she had of replaced those heels with a nice pair of beaten up brouges, she may have been able to get away with plain old eccentric rather than complete fucking moron, but anyway. I'm sure the kebab dripping down her arm and the ringlets that escaped from the tight bun atop her head (forming pseudo devil horns) really weren't doing much for her, aesthetically.

Daydreaming

I want to decorate. It's a pity that renting stops one from total transformation, like painting the front door purple, but with a little inspiration from the internet and Sofia Coppola films in combination with some blank pillow cases and thread could maybe lead to a teensy reinvention.

lover the house.

Just sitting on the day bed at my parents house on the south coast, taking full advantage of unlimited internet downloads, a huge pile of house magazines and a cute new macbook. Sometimes its nice to be a hermit, eat some good food and just forget about all those annoying responsibilities back home. I also find it enjoyable to peer into other peoples abodes, and this is why I am a the selby addict. The designers behind the brand Lover live here, and I think its kinda perfect.

lomo in japan

I want a Diana lomography camera to take to japan. These images are fabulous! I've always pined for a lomograohy camera, ever since my friend bought a holga back in about year ten . I think the way lomo cameras saturate colours and allow imperfections really suits the asethetics of the japanese city-scape. Sigh. Want.
