Konban Wa!

I started learning Japanese today. Instant attraction. Lust at first sight and so on. Embarrasingly enough, on the way home from uni I made a stop at the Japanese supermarket to indulge my cultural sweet tooth and then rushed up to my room with a cup of tea to start practicing my hiragana. Welcome back Japan obsession. Not only that, but I had forgotten how much I enjoyed learning a new language in the three years I have remained nothing but an English speaking simpleton. Uni is great too. After falling into the pattern of working in retail 6 days a week you forget how much there is to learn and the potential of creativity and uni life.
Above images are from two of my favourite Japanese themed blogs makeiteasy and hellosandwich. Ebony Bizys of Hello Sandwich (and of the amazing Vogue Living.) is putting together a Tokyo guide which I am beyond excited for. Keep a little eye on her blog for more deatils.
Have a Japan fetish like me?
more blogs for you.
these are just a taste. please let me know of any more to add!

  1. nihongo ganbatte!! i loved studying japanese when i lived over there, it's so great when you can decipher the hiragana and katakana on signs and in restaurant menus, and of course if you can read some kanji as well that is super exciting :)
